Jigglestick,

Do any of the resorts on the North side plow a road or do you have to take your chances going out from the public access??
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"

shakey, any roads that are plowed are by the users only.
If I go out there, I will punch a road in from the south side, maybe the north.
I would like to move my houses maybe there, after walleye season closes.
I like to catch them bowstring crappies!
there is usually enough traffic on the north end that the track-road stays open. a lot of people keep their houses out there.
that lake has handed me my ass in a paper sack more times than not, but it is still one of my favorite lakes to fish in the winter.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!

Thanks Jiggle.  I may shoot you an e-mail if we decide to venture there instead of Red Lake.
