I urge all to take time and watch it. Since right now, early ice is the time accidents can happen. You may think you know what to do, but this guy is an expert on cold water survival tactics.

Its a 9 minute video of a scientist who is an expert on what cold does to the human body. He actually goes into a iced over lake, and shows/talks about the do's and dont's on how to be able to survive if you fall thru the ice. Its a report from the Discovery Channel and well worth your time to watch it.

PLEASE watch it all, some of the most important info is towards the end. People have actually saved themselves by their coat arms freezing on the ice, then they passout with hyperthermia. And survive instead of drowning.

wow that was a great piece of information to have thank you for shareing that  it will come in handy to all of us who do venture out on the ice for whatever reason thanks again
