I am going to buy an underwater Camera.  There have been a few reviews on the FISHTV and it looks promising.  I would consider others but I really do not want to spend more then $150.00.  Any suggestions?  My drawback to getting the FISHTV is the fact it runs on C batteries.  I have a bunch of 12 Volts for the Vex etc.  Is there a way to run this on a 12 volt?

I baught an Aqua Cam from Menards a couple years back for $80.  It has a rechargeable battery like a Vex.  It's nothing special but it does the job.

Marcum has a camera that is sold for around $160.00 with a $30.00 rebate, I believe.  I think the model is VS-250, and it will be a better camera than anything at Menards and priced close enough to your price range, and includes a 12v battery and charger.  My buddy just bought one at GM, but they were going fast so act quickly if you are interested.  I've been very happy with Marcum and them standing behind their products.

It looks like they raised the price to 115. I got my a month ago for 109.

What they are selling are refurbished units. I called the company based in MN. ( hit the contact us to see the street address) They are unit that go out for promotional use to writers tv show, that kind of thing they are then returned and they sell them. The units come with the same 1 year warranty that a new one comes with and it my case the unit looked brand new not a scratch or blemish on it. the only way you could tell is was not new is the box had been opened. I am not afflilated with the store at all but it is a great way to save some cash on products. I did see they had flashers refurbed too

Just passing it along to any one interested in saving some cash

Marcum is a great product.  But just so their is no confusion.  The actual camera on the Aqua cam is the same sony camera on the marcum/cabelas low end cameras.

You'll be very happy with the 250. It's a great camera for the price.
