Tim and I will be fishing West Rush this Saturday, the plan is to leave my house in Woodbury around 1pm, stop at Rush Point Store for bait and be on the lake by 2:30 or so.

Not sure where on West we are fishing yet, I'll know in the next few days, we'll be driving the Suburban and fishing in a Yukon with a MNO decal on the back. If anyone wants to meet us we should be at the Rush Point Store at 2pm.

It's supposed to be really cold this weekend too, we'll probably bring some brats and eat on the ice, not sure how late we will stay, it all depends on the fish.

So, thats the preliminary plan, whoever wants to meet us, just post here and we can organize this more.

The cold wont matter when your sitting in the warm house.

More than likely we will drive on the lake and it only takes 5 minutes to have everything all setup.

Wouldn't bother me a bit, I'm used to getting everything done on my own anyways. I would just make sure to accidentally not drill your holes all the way through.  :oops1:  :rotflmao:

I drove around the lake, I couldn't find um.

There's a few burb's out there, not as many people as last weekend, probably to cold.

I don't know what color truck they drive or how big the decal is, maybe they went to the bar instead.

Thats O.K., the daughter was bored and wanted to go out for a drive anyway. Once we got there, then she asked if we could fish, I didn't bring any poles, so we turned around and went back home.

I helped a friend put his house out there on Friday evening . Ya it was cold . 0 snow for banking . Had to use cardboard strips and a stapler with hole slush to kill that wind a bit. Then on saturday at noon we took this guy from sweden out there.  He's at our work for 2 weeks setting up 2 new presses for us . He's been living in South Carolina for 8 years and has not been ice fishing since. He also had not ever fished out of a ice house before . He had fun and stayed the night at my place to go out early sunday morning again. We caught some ,but the bite was slow . He thought that those little perch were really fat that he was catching.
