The walleye are much more active now and things are really looking good. We have seen numerous groups of fisherman with their limit plus many fish caught and released. Again getting away from people is the key. The farther of the beaten path the better you'll do. The walleye seem to be hitting a plain hook and splitshot during the day and the almighty glow jig in the evening. This weekends cold weather might have an effect on the attitude of the fish but we hope it stays positve. The crappies are still on the move and hard to find with the occasional one showing up here and there. Again the pike are still roaming the walleye waters and you'll always have your chance for a big one. Good Luck !!
