Doing the blue thing

If someone out there really does the Blue thing all out, (blue shelters, blue boxes ,blue suits).  I would be interested in hearing how Ice Armour suits perform. I got a pair of Ice Armour Gloves and they are super warm but are the suits worth the price of admission?  Are they durable? Keep out water? And warm? Thanks

i dont have the ice armour suit but i know people swear by them plus there is artic armour as well but that suit floats you as well,i know i will be getting one or the other for next year i really like the padding for the knees on them

A friend of mine has the ice armor suit. He says he prefers the carharts over the blue. He cant get the liners for them any more. He has looked all over. If any one can tell me where to look I'd appreciate it. Thanks , kyle

I bought my husband the blue ice armour suit last Christmas.  He loves it!  He say's that it keep's him completely dry, which is the main reason why he loves it so much.  When he goes out spearing and has to cut the big hole in the ice, he stay's completely dry, which usually after doing that you get pretty darn wet.  Also, whenever he snow blows, he uses it then too.  So he's been really happy with it.  It seems to be very durable and very water proof.  Now warmth wise..I think you could get something warmer, but if you are looking to stay dry, it's worth the price.  Ken, I had heard that the ice armour gloves do not keep you that warm, so I was surprised to hear you say that they do, good to know.  Thanks!  gg

I have 2 pair of the Ice Armour gloves, choppers and gloves. I usually just use the gloves and they keep my hands very warm, I love the way they fit and how they don't get wet under normal use. I always take them off and never submerge them in water and they do the job for me.

I have no experience with the suits, but I was thinking of getting the Xtreme suit for this season, now I've decided to wait until the new **** Suits come out for next year.

I think GG described the suits best...... There is probably warmer suits out there but the Ice Armour suits will keep you dry. I don't get cold too easy, so they would probably work fine for me. It's alll about how you layer your clothes under any suit or boot.
