Anybody ever here of a "Pilkey" minnow ice jig??  I've been searching the internet, but can't seem to find it.  Obsolete maybe??  If they are obsolete what is the hottest panfish ice fishing jig now?
I’m searching
I’m wondering
I’m yearning
Waiting for our time to come

personally for me, hands down, has been a green glow ant with pink "legs". Just remember line weight can be just as important as the jig itself and if you use mono make sure it isn't coiling.

Ive been using a little Finnish made jig thats got just a dot of glow paint on it. Some of em have a jewel on em... they work great with waxies or eurolarve... I cant remember the name though....  Isnt the Pilkey that smaller Swedish jigging spoon?  Thorne Bros. used to carry them... I'd give them a call, they also have a website...     -thunderpout :happy1:

Too many favorites to choose from, but the new Diamond Eye jigs by JR's Tackle have been my go to jigs this year and last year.

Other top favorites are:

Rat Finkees
Ratsos
Shrimpos
Fat Boys
Phelps Tick Jigs
Frostees
Demons

About once a winter, my brother and I have a little competition. I use a plain hook and minnow, and he uses his tackel box, for some reason I always win. :bs:

I use whats called a white chili jig. Just fish off the bottom with it.
