2-23-08  Crappies have moved out of the deep waters and are in about 22-25 feet on crappie minnow.  Walleye are right there with them, some very nice sized takes in the past week, a couple of wall mounters for sure.  Sunnies seem to be scattered.  We don't know what kind of larva is hatching, but seems in the mud ends of the bays there are still frenzies of bottom feeding, walleye included!  Nice fat perch everywhere.  Suckers are pretty much done for bait this season, we are getting out potentially last batch this afternoon....Beautiful day to be out and about!  Out showing houses all day, seems the real estate market is picking up early this year!
