I know its way early to bring this up, but I'd like to get this topic started. Who would be interested in starting a MNO softball team starting this fall or next spring?

Once there is enough interest, I'll start working on getting shirts and a couple sponsors.

We would probably join a C or D league on a Friday night in the metro area (Woodbury, Oakdale or Maplewood)

Costs will be your portion of the league fee and possibly shirts, unless they are donated from a sponsor.

We will be looking for 12-13 players that can make a weekly committment to playing once a week.

better find sponsors (cough outdoorsweekly***) to shell out for the team fees.  They can be alot when the players have to pay for them.  like 300-400 dollars for a team, that's 30-40 per player, plus 12 for shirts... best get a sponsor (cough*coughoutdoorsweeklycough)  I might be interested.

I would play, but it would be nice if it were a more central location.

How about we get 12-13 metro people that want to play and then list a few places that we would all be interested in playing. We could have a vote from all the players.

That is fine with me.  I would probably play no matter where it is.  I guess it really depends on where all of the players are from.
