i no that in the dinner bell bay area. (wich is on south lindstrom, connected to chicago) that the sunnys like to bite during the day, i was out last sunday from 10:30am to 12pm  and caught about 11 sunnys but nothing ovar 7 inches, and on tuesday from 4:30 to 7pm and caught about 2 dozen crappies but nothing over 9! but that is better than the the last few weeks, wich means that i think thier on the up rise to bite

I'm not sure of the launch conditions, but the south bay of Chisago has always been good for me. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow afternoon and plan on walking out.

What you'll find at Frankies is the truth. If Brad is working he has no problem telling you where to go and what to use. Why wouldn't he?? If he lies you won't come back. So he'll give it to you straight you just need to ask. That is my experience at Frankies before I even knew who he was or he knew who I was. So yes....it is the best bait shop in the area by far!

thanx tim. brad was a great help. we did very well. got out there about 1230 and stayed till 1100. we caught alot of sunnies, quite a few crappies, a bonus 14" bass and were bit of three times. and dare i say, one bullhead. we're going back this saturday. the launch was in great shape, hope it holds up till this weekend. if anyone else is interested we should be up there by nine this saturday. brad showed me three spots on the map, only tried two. this week i'm going to try the third.thanx again tim, had a blast.
