What do i need for gear to fish on the big lake??

From rods to line to tackle..

Do i use spoons, or spin baits, or fresh bait.... If fresh bait what type and size?

Dumb question, what " big lake", are you talking SUP, LOW, ??  And what are you fishing for and when.

Not really after anything.. just going to go fishing and see what i get lol
I understand certain lures for curtain fish and all that.. i do fish a lot, but in general i mean.. but i know you use a diff line? whats the best choice for all around fish?
Just general stuff, to help others here who might like to fish the big lake as well

SOme people actually call Mille Lacs big, that why i asked, anyway, what time of the year are you thinking about? spring/summer/fall--trout/'eyes/salmon?

You would be an easy client NG, kinda sound to easy going?  The reason Im asking is the Big lake is very different than your fav. lakes, temp /bait/ water column everything--its hard to apply general fishing to SUP.  NOt trying to be difficult

Not to mention fishing on the big lake is a lot of trollin for salmon, lakers using boards and downriggers. Whole different ball game..
