Do you set your fish right on the grill or do you wrap them in foil?

Do you use spices? while out and about?

The breading is the main thing, it can make it or break it i think...

Do you mix up your own at home or buy from the store?

What your favorite breading for fish?

I prefer the original brand Shorelunch. I ussually use it dry and just put it in a bag and put in my fillets that I have patted dry and shake to coat the fillets. Place in hot oil.

I'm pretty easy to please with this one Gal.  I like my fish with flour, salt and pepper.  That's about it.  I also like a little lemon juice to pour over them sometimes.  Other than that, that is about it for me.  I've tried a lot of the shore lunches, but I still prefer just the old basics.

I love the Shore Lunch in a box from the grocery store but I like to mix in corn meal. The corn meal gives it that extra crisp ;D

Cool ideas.. but i wont be carrying milk or eggs when i am out fishing for the day and pull over to a island to make me some shore lunch.. fish .
I am just looking for a baggie of mix that doesn't need to be kept cool

I have a small grill for my boat  and a small frying pan that fits in it.. yes

Oil is easy to bring along, its closed and dont need a cooler as is foil

I have a small 6 pk fold cooler that  i use for soda, i don't drink while i am operating a boat..

Who said i wasn't going to have cold drinks?

Is that so out there?
