Where are you fishing?? I have been hearing more and more about Clear Lake but the chatter is quiet. I did some research on the internt and found out that it is managed for Walleyes by the dnr for a long time now. The last surveys that were done on the lake showed very good numbers of walleyes.

Here is a map to the lake. Looks very easy to fish and it is pretty small.

waconia, susan, riley, ann, stieger, lotus, pearsons. each of these lakes has a certain fish i target, for example on opener i will be on lake susan, because its a awesome early season walleye lake. or later in the day i might go to lotus which has a good early season fishery as well. but i wont take my boat out on any of them yet.

Ill be heading out to Lake Elmo..Great small lake if ya know how to fish it..Those deep bowl lakes are always hard to figure out. Besides if you fish it early - you wont get ran over by jet skis or water skiers. Lets hope it warms up a little. Fish On !!!!!!!

I have no plans but I'm stuck in the cities because of this doggone wedding. (Not sure if that's how you spell doggone.) I'm sure I'll find my way somewhere - maybe Minnetonka.
