Walleye's, then a person can't beat top water bass fishing.  When with the youngsters you can't beat sunnies.

Hands down, it's the tarpon. When you have a hundred and sixty pound fish jumping out of the water ten yards away, it'll give you a rush like you wouldn't beleive.

Been Walleye for years, but the last couple years of river fishing, I kinda like bucketmouths on an ultralight...may try my fly rod this year...

I CNR 99.5% of all fish, so it doesn't matter as long as the kids' and I are catch-n

Muskies!  Hands down.  Also the bonus large pike and bass that try and eat the bigger muskie baits.

Brook trout.

Followed by walleyes and lake trout, then big slimy nasty northerns.

Bass are pests.  Vermin.  Unworthy of real fishermen.

Crappies 365 days a year no doubt about it.  I would sell all my other poles and keep my crappie gear any day.  I have no clue what gets me about those things, but they amp me up when you get into a school of them!

I'll go for anything thats biting, at any time of the year. I'm allergic to any kind of fish so I only keep what my girlfriend will eat.

Smallies #1... then a toss-up between walleyes, and stream trout of any kind for #2 (rainbows,browns,brookies...) #3 probably Crappies through the ice, but really anything that fights is aok... its all good!

I will of course cast a vote for Mr. Big   :happy1:  largemouth bass on topwater is tuff to beat. 2nd would be a northern on topwater about 10' from the boat. Would love to fish tarpon but can't find a lake in MN that have them!     But give me a river smallmouth for the best pound for pound fighter..

I guess I would have to say Smallmouths and walleyes. But really I like them all. Crappies are kind of a mystery fishing to me. I usually catch them when I'm fishing for something else. Bass are fun. I caught tons of carp when I was a kid. It's all good.

That is even the same fish.

I would have to say Crappies, but I did have a lot of fun catching Catfish and Suckers out of the St. Louis river when I was young.
