I dunno if this is going to work guys.  Jr. and I were screwing around chasing big haukkies on Saturday afternoon (after we had our limits of walleyes) when I popped this girl.  Jr. measured her in the net with a tape, since she was played out and I was only going to hold her out of the water long enough for a quick picture.

We got the bobber part right!  Fish measured out a comfortable 40" - it was probably an inch or two longer but she was not cooperative - and Jr. got the measurement holding the tape at the tip of her nose and curling the tape around to her tail, as she thrashed in the water, with both of us hanging over the gunwale of the little Lund, me attempting to hold her and Jr. trying to get a measurement without getting his hand chewed off.  You can see how chubby she was - I guesstimated the weight to be in the 16-17 lb. range.

Successful release.  Last thing I wanted to do was kill her.  If it costs me an entry, that's OK - leave the pic up anyhow!

Need a fish board.. Tapes on sides of boat never work, unless you just catch little fish... :whistling:

This one was longer than the one above but hard to tell from photo.  I'd give it a 31 inch.

I don't see it any bigger then 30" from the photo, your team already has a 30" fish so no upgrade. Nice fat fish ! Judge Bobby Bass

Looking at the photo's, I would have to say that the tail in the top pic is short of the end of the tape and the mouth is open.

So, I would have to agree with Bobby.
