Mille Lacs Messenger & Netting

Has anyone esle been following what has been going in with the Mille Lacs messenger and the whole netting Controversy. It seems that a lot of people have given up on the Messenger including myself. I usually purchase one every time I pull into Isle. Not going to anymore unless they start reporting the facts and without bias.

from what i did see first hand this year, and what was written by viv in the paper, there must be 2 lake mille lacs. she wrote everything that she was told by the netters and glifwc as gospel. i was there, i seen the nets with dead fish in them. she quoted wally labarge in a article saying that he recovered all his net before the ice moved in, well 3 of the nets i saw had the name labarge written on the buoy, must have been someone else. the news is supposed to cover both sides of the issue, in my opinion, viv wrote a series editorials instead of covering the news. all i can say is, i saw what i saw, and that is not what was printed in viv's column. i was never contaced by her as to get my version of what i saw when we went out in the boat to see if there were any nets lost nets................tom fellegy

I think it is just pathetic what they are doing!  It's about time they start hearing and printing the other sides of the story.  I've heard similiar situations like yours from people with different things that they have saw and heard.  I have yet to see ANY of those in print or on the news and have always wondered WHY???  It's beyond pathetic what they are letting happening, and the end result is going to be disasterous, if they let this continue.  It's all !
