I was out bass fishing with my Dad about a month ago. I caught so many bass (unfortunately nothing big) that I got a blister on the inside of one of my fingers. I've always thought most of my rods could be designed to be more comfortable. What I did is I went to Eric's bike shop and bought a roll of the cork material used to wrap bicycle handle bars. Well it works great. Here are a couple of photos to show how I wrapped it. I probably have enough cork to do about 8 or 10 rods.

Works good in late fall to keep the cold metal away from your fingers to... great idea!

Fawkinnae, What a great idea!!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by thethings you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throwoff the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catchthe trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
