The Croix was fruitful before my two week hiatus (a trip out west and a week of vacation) and upon return it produced some nice smallies again.  It wasn't as nice, as we lost over 10 fish to short hits, although it could be poor hook sets, but since I lost a major share I wouldn't say that :).

The end of the night provided the most action as we caught a dozen from dusk 'til dark.  The evening activity of black buzzbaits over the shallow rocks kept us busy.  Picture is of the big smallie (17 inch) from last night.

Many short hits on topwaters, crankbaits while the Senkos nailed a few.  We threw the Senkos after missed blowups after topwaters.
