Was wondering if there was any interest in starting a softball team for next year? My team im on now is breaking up after many years due to conflicts with other teams. Just seeing if anyone would be interested and we could try to find a central location as well.

I would play. But depends on where. I live west of Minneapolis
If today was perfect. There would be no need for tomorrow.

count me in... inver grove, or woodbury.  invergrove has nice fields out there, i've played there before, so does woodbury, currently playing there...  I pitch mainly, and play first.  Thursday nights are good for me, let me know.

A long time ago in a land far far away I played left field in the 1961st Comm Groups team over in the Philippines.  Not so long ago and not so far away I was a pitcher for the 2181ST Comm Group in Mt Vergine Italy.  Was pretty good I guess as I was selected to the all Italy all star team.  I can still loob the ball I think and if nothing else I am comfortable behind the plate as well.  I work in Oakdale so I could stop in for games on the way home from work.  Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

Wow, any more "volunteers" like Ducky and I may just come to watch.
I used to play too but it cuts into hunting and other outdoor activities.  Not the actual "playing" time but the recovery time for broken bones etc.    :rotflmao:
