Rack busters it is guys. Gds, good idea on the buck tag. Don't burn it up on a buck smaller than ten points for this contest.

Sounds like you have a lot of deer where you hunt. Shouldn't have a problem getting some meat in the freezer!  ;)

Well I broke my own rule this weekend. I killed an 8 pointer with a small sticker off the back side of his G2. The reason I say I broke my own rule is he is not a wallhanger for me. Just under a 16" spread outside. Nice deer, just below my personal standard. If I didn't shoot the guy on the other side of the fence would have. To be honest I don't like the guy and that factored into my decision as well. He (the other guy) was actually closer to it than me when I took it.
Can we show a little leniency on the photo time. I had to take them with the old camera as my wife had the digital this weekend. I will need to develop and scan before I can post. I will post a pic or the skin head tomorrow that I can get with the digital.

There are definitely a lot of nice deer in the Medford area. I work in the Owatonna/Medford area and have still been seeing some nice bucks on the edges of the woods and out in the picked fields this week.

In defense of the tag, not just because he is a team member of mine. I still see a few of these every year. Most are from small town out state registration stations. I think they still use these as back up if the puter is down also. I could dig one up from this year if I dug real hard in the freezer I think.

You are right Auggie about the small town tag thing. I drove to a small town 6 miles West of Rochester to register my deer. I registered it at my buddies bar/liqour store figuring he would be there to b.s. with, and he had the same rigistration tags as LGF did in the picture.

I still see them around quite a bit, Some places just aren't updated and still use them.  Few of the stores out in the boonie's around here, have quite a bit of problems with there machine, or they just don't know how to use them , so they still use those tan ones!        ;D
