Hi to all.
I'm fairly new to this site but I would like to get more involved. My question is; What are some inexpensive ways to quiet your bow?
I have an older PSE game sport, and boy is she loud. It has two puffy yarn ball like silencers that I doubt are helping any. I have an idea that it might be my release because it seems like its "plucking" the string when i release.
Any suggestions??
Thanks
John

Those puff balls are probably helping to some degree by limiting or stopping extra string vibration.  Other ways to help it be more quiet are checking all nuts & bolts for tightness, limb savers, a quiet release, and a quiet rest.

My rest is a DMI Expert I and it makes no noise at all.  My release is a Tru Ball but I can't remember the model to save my life but it's totally quiet too.
If ya don't know where ya are, go back to da beginnin.

One sugestion I would make is get rid of those puffy balls and get the spiders on there. The puffy balls can get wet and freeze if its cold out. Use some mole skin around the arrow rest so when your arrow falls off whitch it will do, it won't be as loud. I also have the U string on the string so you don't get the twist on your string as much. They dont move like the brass noch's do also. The limb savers are pretty cheep and help a lot. Don't forget to wax your string also. Good luck.
