Happy Friday!   Instead of reading this report you should be on your way up here.  Fishing is great, and as October usually does, will get better every day.  Many anglers are working the river mornings and late afternoons, hitting the lake and during the middle part of the day; others are working the lakeside of Pine Island and Gaps all day.  I am busy most days, so I run to the gaps around 4pm and usually can limit out a crew before 7pm, or come very close.

Anchored with a shiner is the ticket, the action can be non-stop... while throwing back many smaller walleye and sauger and releasing slot fish you will keep some excellent eaters.  In addition we have guests getting some nice walleyes pulling cranks, a few doing well on sturgeon, and some  casting and doing great with the northern and a few muskies in Four Mile Bay.

If this is not enough for you, bring the shotguns to break the day.

Aren't you missing the Point???
