The anticipation for the opener is driving me crazy.
Thinking about deer hunting makes it hard to get through the work day.

a couple of days away from opener?

Hey Jaker, its gonna keep getting colder through the weekend and that will get them bucks up and movin so don't you worry about that.  Just be sure you're careful and take the time to aim real well.  Show your Dad --->    that you got what it takes to bring down a biggun.

So where are you guys hunting?

Im takin my 12 year old (Oober Ponage) on a private hunt that he won  (lucky little punk) in Marine on St Croix -- just to the West of Wm O'Brien State park.  I'll sit with him as he hunts for the notorious Tridy Pointer that says "Take me now Remnar.  Im yours."  Next weekend, Me  Oober     and my oldest boy Hockey #12  go up Nort ta Marcell    (just a tad nort of Grand Rapids) and stay at a friends cabin.     Ahhh luxury -- minus the running water and electricity.

Im not sure who's more excited about Saturday -- Me or Oober.

Has anybody had any luck this last weekend

I only had two does come in on sat.  Nothing on sunday.  I'll get out Fri afternoon and then again on the weekend.  I'll be hunting in Wisconsin for there season also.  How about you?  Did you get or see anything?
