Just trying to get some more people talking!  So what's your beverage of choice for the weekend?  Mine, well coffee in the morning straight coffee ;). Then after the hunt some cold Bud Light!   :drinking: Maybe some Schmidts, or Hamms when time are tough. :puke:.  I am not promoting drinking while hunting, just wondering.  :toast: And this is not a paid advertisement for any of the listed Beverages.   :tequila;:fudd::police:

Power-Aid, I don't care for Gatorade.

Maybe a funny thing, but I think that one of the guys in our hunting party may finally finish his 5th of Jim Beam this year.  The guys that I hunt with do enjoy their adult beverages, but never when in the field.  When bird hunting, again there is no alcohol when hunting, but later around the campfire some may make up for lost time.  But one person in our deer camp brought a 5th of Jim Beam to the camp either 5 or 6 years ago, I don't remember, and is still working it. If we are not too tired, it is 3 games of cribbage to determine the 2 out of 3 winner and a mixed bump or two when we are playing.

Maybe another topic, but our deer camp is in bed early, I mean 10 pm is late and that would be someone reading a hunting magazine.

I start out my day with either coffee or hot tea.  :coffee:

Mid day I usually drink water and gatorade/powerade to keep me hydrated. I tend to lean toward gatorade  g2, they seem to keep me going! :dancinred:

Usually a couple night of deer hunting we have family and friends come from all over so I might occasionally dive into some MGD Light or Leinenkugel's Honey Wise after it gets dark out! :drinking:

I don't attend any deer camps, but I usually just drink water in the morning and during the hunt. I found the more coffee and tea I drank in the mornings, the more I had to get up and whiz off my stand.

When we do get together after hunts or to help each other drag deer out of places we throw a couple cold budweisers down and talk smart in our respective man-cave's. :toast:

I start off each morning with a vitamin drink, a glass of OJ with breakfast, then carry a water bottle with me during the day, glass of milk with supper and a Mich Golden or two before bed.  I might have a Morgan coke if I feel a little wild.   :happy1:

Why does alcohal have to degrade or add to a stereotype?  I wont be "PC" and say diet coke and or water,(thats for hunting hours) its Jameson and or Famous Grouse Scotch whiskey (After hunting) being sipped around a big arse campfire, and if thats taken as a negative or adding to a stygma by someone, all I got to say is what planet are ye from?  And YES.... I get up every morning at 4am to start all over again!  God Bless the american deer camp! :USA:

I usually start the morning with a nice can of Coke followed later by a Full Throttle.  By night (while playing poker) its captain coke, home brewed hooch, shots of whatever,  :tequila; followed by questionable matter  :drinking: and then time to pass out and then get up and back to the stand to start another fun filled day of the same.  ;D

It all depends on if the Y girls are up or if its just the uncles.  I try to behave till Sat night of 2nd weekend then its a full night of beer, shots, beer, shots, free drinks and what ever else might end up in my hand  :drinking:

Otherwise once off the stand a few Bud Lights, Vodka blessings on the dinner and some card playing, saunas and rest.

Oh yea and I don't hunt the last Sunday :puke:

Engine oil coffee in the morning, just to start things off right. Water during the day. Possibly more coffee after a midday snooze in the bush. No alchohol... I'm not old enough, nor do I drink.
