We just got back from our annual Fly-in trip to Kashishibog Lake in Ontario.  The weather and fishing were great.  No bugs, lots of beverages, good food and great companionship.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Was there any relief from the heat up there.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!

One day/night we had rain storms move through for most of the day.  We went fishing and had to come in at noon to warm up.  We started a fire in the stove and several guys crawled in their sleeping bags to thaw out.  This was on a day when it was in the 90's back in Mpls.  If anyone is interested in some information about a great trip and an outfitter with reasonable prices you can get my e-mail address from my profile and I will send you information.  We have been going to the same area since 1991 and have not yet had a bad trip.
