Myself and another MNO member (URL Deer hunter) went out on Green Lake (northwest of Isanti) on Monday Dec. 22nd.  We were only out for about two hour (3-5pm).  We brought my four year old daughter with.  We got one walleye.  We fished in about 25 feet of water.  There was about 16 inches of ice.  Most people were driving out.  We were out from the point, but should have been a little deeper (30 FOW) is were a local bait shop off hwy 95 said they were biting.

I was out on little elk a week or so ago and didn't do so well. One perch! From everyone I talked to the fishing had been slow, although I did watch a guy pull in a nice walleye.
I've only fished green once but doesn't it just get slammed?

Green is getting slammed with a lot of traffic.  I know that we did pretty good in the spring on elk so i figured that it might be good in the winter for crappies.

Ive been doing alright on little elk.  I  was out there sat. and got about a dozen medium crappies and a couple good sunies.  I was by the point at the bar and it was pretty crowded.
