Hey guys,
I'm heading up north this week and I'm wondering if you can still use a wheeler with chains or if there's too much snow. I would like to bring my wheeler, but the sled could do.

depending on how much snow in the area, 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel. i have a honda foreman
with a lift kit, i would say with mine 16'' would be my limit considering what drifts you
would find.

I have a Yamaha Big Bear with 27" mudders and a lift... dont need chains or a sled, you'd be amazed what it'll go thru... though 3' drifts do slow it down a bit... ;)

i got a plow on mine, so i can plow my own road! you get a
wheeler stuck and you are stuck big time! i dont have chains
and never really needed them even for plowing. as long as you
dont bottom them out you wont have a problem.

well depending on where north is snow will vary but here in duluth we have about 8" on the ground but we've had a lot of wind so i would imagine the lakes arent bad except for the drifts. brainerd has a bit more than us. but i would say bring the sled, they are more fun to puts around on when the fishing is slow. otherwise if your wheeler has the clearance, go for it.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!
