I have noticed lots of bunnies out around my area. I never seem to get out hunting small game as often as I would like. It's just not enough time in the fall. It does make me feel like a kid again though as that is how I got started hunting.

It is usually easy to gain permission to hunt these critters as not allot of hunters persue them. Allot of land owners invite me to come and hunt them as the rabbits invade gardens and nibble off small trees and girdle some of the ones a bit bigger. Especially the fruit trees.

Anyone else make a point of getting out after these smaller critters?

Griz, alot of times I'm(we) on a multi species hunt.

Walking to jump shoot a lake off some logging road.

I'm hunting ducks first..then on the way out(always after checking for ducks) I(we) hunt rabbits, grouse and squirrel going back to the truck.

Carry a few steel 6's jut for that purpose.

There's plenty of room for all gods creatures...right next to my mashed potatoes
