1-11-09  Be careful around the area between Wilson Island and the old resort to the north/east..always a bad area with current underneath, apparently someone tried to drive over it last night and it is cracked up pretty good.  Otherwise, the lake continues to see activity like we have not seen in quite a few years.  Crappie bite is pretty constant in the main lake, hearing not as good in the bays. Larger size to them after dark yet...walleye prowling the edges of the lake right at sundown, and again sun up.  Sunnies in shallow, hearing more on them from channel areas again, but be careful of the ice in those areas..waxies..south bays have not been seeing the northern action they usually do either..more northern areas

Thanks for the tip. I haven't fished it yet this year, but good to know where unsafe areas are.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.
