That is a heck of a crappie man. Very nice.

I don't think I'll make it out until the 28th, but I'm planning on it. Wife and I get rid of the kids this weekend so no fishing for me.

went out yesterday (monday) from 1-7pm... we caught a few walleyes and sauger (about 20?) all small 7-10 inchers... nothing bigger.  a few nice crappies up by the lock side of the dam.  interesting, the lock side is closed up, so no flow... the water temp there was about 39-40 degrees... on the other side where the water is flowing, temps about 31.5, 32 degrees...
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

Oh yeah,  what cool dude did you hear that from?  The least you could do is respond when someone gives you such info instead of posting it like you came up with this late breaking info!!  :rotflmao:

Anyway here's a link to a site with observed and predicted flow rates.  Notice the spike they are predicting.

I was down there Tuesday we got one 19" eye, 3 crappies and one small sauger in 6 hours. I was just happy to get on some fish. Talked to some guys that got there limit of crappies. I saw a few that they were pulling up and they were 12 plus.

Tuesday was slow all around from what I heard.  And yes there has been some DANDY crappies showing up.  Think warmer, less current water in about 12 fow suspending at 10' for the craps!!!!

Don't wanna talk for Drummer but I talked to his captain and it was slow they kept 6 sauger's for 3 guy's.  Another boat I talked to didn't fair very well either.  I'll be down to give another part of the river a test tomorrow/  Won't be going hardcore as we will have a kid with us but I'll post result's.

yup mike only kept 6 but it was only Jason and I , Dan never came with  :puke:.The bite was wierd and the fish were not where they were last week. the lock side gave up only one nice sauger and a few carp. we had to run south way south to find some more saugers. I did stick a keeper sauger on the roller side also around lunch time. I was told a 13.5 lber was caught also and a few 6 lb saugers! here is some pics of the catch.

Beautiful morning!

Nothing wrong with the fish in the pics, nice eyes. And that pic of the river makes me want to head out there now.

Fishing doesn't end there in the spring Kyle!  Fish can be had by the dam all year and the lake can be dynamite in the summer and winter.  Get your borther to leave hillbillyville for a while and the 3 of us can head over there sometime!!
