i really hope that someday it'll work out where i can get over there and catch some fish especially since i only landed one wally this year and it must have been all of three inches long

Pool 4 can spoil a guy ! its rediculious some times ! loads of walleye and saugers!                                                                                                                        LoL you have only been there 2 times in 2 years

It looks like it will deff. be going up. Here is the website that PDOGG posted earlier you can see it spiking up throught the week and plateauing under the flood stage.

I also was thinking of heading out next week. I guess I will be monitoring the levels and make a decision later in the week.

OMG!!!! stay home ! There was a forest floating down the river today! huge 10 ft + trees . the curent is redicilous! it pushed the boat 3.7 mph ! it was very hard to control the boat. Never saw anyone else boat a fish. Alot of boats moving around . we ran all over until we had enough of the cold and non cooperating fish  off the water by 11. Dean at everetts called in sick and I think that should given us a inner voice to just go home!

Not sure yet. So far I think I'm open both days, but wifey only allows me one of those. Maybe we can meet up down there.

The river is kinda wierd. I grew up on lakes all my young life. I am told that water temp , current , and water clarity is the most important things down there. We need more higher temps so we can get all this run off and flood waters down stream. then i'll head back down  Very hard to fish in all that current!

Not unless it was salt water. Sounds like you need a new thermocouple.

John, it depends, if you were by the rollers or heavy current it is possible. but if you were by hte lock I don't think its possible . every morning for the last few weeks it has been 39 - 40 degrees
