Things are finally starting to pick up again!  Now that temperatures are bearable again, the fish are starting to bite!

On many area lakes, crappies have become very active in early/late evening hours.  Walleye have picked up a little, hopefully by the weekend they will be back in full force again!

Roads are being plowed and maintained nicely on many area lakes, so head out and enjoy some good fishing!

Popular baits are crappie/fat head and plump waxies for panfish.  Golden shiners for walleyes.  Med sized suckers for northerns.

Have fun and good luck!!
