Myself and MNMoose and his better half are hitting the lake about 9:00 AM for a full day of fishing.  We are going to try it all.  If you are in the area look for me with a plack Dodge Ram and brand new Frabil Trekker Delux and say hello to us.  Hopefully I will have a good report to share, but if nothing else it should be a very comfortable day on the lake!  Hopefully we will see some MNO folks out there.

Well, MNMoose, his gal and myself spent the day out there from about 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  Not a lot to report really.  The fish seemed pretty negetive most the day.  We started out in 25 FOW on a flat adjacent to a hole and found some little perch and some marks on the vex that would jus sniff.  Then we hit 30 FOW and had about the same results with lost of lookers and very few takers.  We also targeted some gills off a point in 12 FOW with no luck.  The high point of the day was when Moose's gal was yelling at him from about 100 yards that she had a huge fish on and could not get it in.  Watching him sprint the 100 yards to get back to her through all the uneven snow was pretty good humor.  The fish ended up being about a 10 pound pike.  He said he was going to post the picture today so I will let him add anything to the fish story then!  We mainly tried to stay away from the crowds because neither of us like to be "that guy."

Been having some technical difficulties with the PC but I think we nipped the snails in the butt and got the turtles moving again.

I think ya got er down Luke...I am sure you thought it was hilarious watching me tredge across the ice full boar...anyone fishin probably thought it was a train on the ice.  Just hearing Rachael scream that across the ice was to die for!!!!  and she tried calling like 5 times to ask what to do..WOW what an experience, especially on 2lb test and a tear drop!!! Well Here's those pics

This pic I took outside Rachael was shaking so bad...and it was too heavy for her to lift up

Now that she's outfishin me I'll have to show her proper technique for holding the fish for pics since Im the one always behind the cam now....Not bad for a Rookie Good Job Honey!!

Luke...We had a Ball With ya Hopefully next timed we can get your better half involved Thanks for comin up with us!!
