Man, I hope not  :puke:

I don't know what would be worse, watching him throw interseptions all the time or listening to Madden.  :censored: :moon:

farve to teach booty, think of it this way, yes he is becoming a problem but with him under center defenses have no choice but to back off the line. we become a power house team, a team to fear. yes we are going to lose sharper and i think we will lose matt birk also because our head coach is a moron. but we will replace ryan cook in the free agency also. theres also talk of possibly picking up derek anderson who is going to be cut next month because he is due lik 4-5 million dollar roster bonus. also talk of trading for Sage Rosenfels from houston. who i guess the whole vikings front office loves for some reason. but if farve is cut he will become a minnesota viking.

ok ok I know he is getting old and should just retire but he is one of the greatest QB's of all times you have to addmit that even if you hate the guy he still puts up the numbers, besides we wouldn't be any worse off then stayin with what we have TJ is still young so maybe farve could teach him a thing or two.

Favre does not teach the younger ones. Remember with Rogers when he said "it's not my job to help him out". He's a pain in the arse and needs to just go away.

well maybe he can help booty, yes he did say that but we was sore because they drafted rogers to replace him, dont you think you would be pretty mad also. i wouldnt teach someone who is going to take my job either.

A man has 50-yard-line tickets for the Super Bowl.  As he sits down, another man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next to him.  'No', he said, 'the seat is empty'.

'This is incredible', said the man.  'Who in his right mind would have a seat like this for the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the world, and not use it?'

Somberly, the man says, ‘Well... the seat actually belongs to me.  My wife was supposed to come here with me, but she passed away.  This is the first Super Bowl we have not been to together since we got married in 1967.'

'Oh I'm sorry to hear that.  That's terrible.  But couldn't you find someone else - a friend or relative, or even a neighbor - to take the seat?'

The man shakes his head, ‘No.  They're all at the funeral.'

I'd be happy with Favre or Warner but Derek Anderson or Sage would be the smarter choice. Favre or Warner would only give us one year, the others would fill the spot for 2-3 until Booty is ready.

I know Warner says he has 3 years left in him but i only see one, Favre is only good for a half season, maybe 10 games.

Either way, as long as they land one of these 4, i'd be very happy and TJ can go away!!!

well we wont need farve to throw it more than 20 times a game. so he may have more life in his arm at the end of the season. because look how much he is asked to throw for the jets and greenbay, those places he is the offense, here he is the game manager, and a frieghten(sp) sight for defenses to see as the stack the box. we need him and a right tackle and maybe another receiver, the bengals receiver houshamazeada?(sp)

Sage Rosenfels...who could forget this play?  I have to admit, it's a play I'd expect from a Viking.  Notice how teams that suck always get good and win championships (or at least get to the title game) while we stay lame.  Arizona sucked for so long, we beat them year in and year out, they were doormats for decades, now they're in the Super Bowl while we do our usual.  It's not just football, either.  Tampa Bay Rays, anyone?  Same story.

Oh yeah, here's that Rosenfels play:

I read in the paper today (Mankato Freepress)that Mr. Vick is going to get a strong look from the purple and gold. Man I am so glad I am not a Viking fan! mankatofreepress.com if anybody wants to read it.

well i guess vick is alot better than wat we have. i know childress is already leaning towards TJ staying the starting QB this season :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: and the browns are keeping derek anderson around. i hear they almost cut booty last year cause thats how bad he is suppose to be. we wont give up anything for cassel. we wont draft a QB in the first round, the texans want to much for rosenfels, mcnabb will be in a eagles uniform this year so i really see no other option. :banghead: :banghead:

CUTLER CUTLER CUTLER!  The only thing Favre would teach T Jack is how to end a career the wrong way... you guys that think Favre is the way to go are dreaming!  he's toast!  Yer blinder that Brett himself, dreaming he's what he used to be... he's a shell of his former self... Sage is a half step better than Gus or T-jack, but not the complete answer.... Cutler would be a legit starter... which makes me think there is no way the Broncos would let him go, short of a Hershal Walker trade.... but we can hope... maybe a three QB for one trade... :rotflmao: save Booty for the back up behind Cutler! ;D
