These Northern things you are referring to, I believe the proper name up north for them is "Speckled Ditch Trout", a relative caught a 43"er last week out of a ditch that feeds Zipple Bay.
You can't afford not to go fishing.

 :reporter;

Just got done conversatin with the two youngins on my team "The Wonderers".  We discussed the possible rule change for next year stating that the 2009 Challenge Champions will be able to defend their championship in 2010. With this in mind we've unanimously decided that by August we will have already wrapped The 2009 championship.

So, with that being said were going to order our Championship Team shirts, jackets, hats and decal kits so's were ready for the 2010 Challenge repeat victory. I know....I know, some of you are worried that the new dynasty "The Wonderers" will crush the future hopes of future Challenge hopefuls. "The Wonderers" have also taken this into consideration and have decided to disband after the 2010 season.

I'm sure that many of you have already been wondering? With a random selection ( by computer) of all the teams, how could so much talent wind up on the same team? Some may call it fate and others may call it luck of the draw. There are even those out there that would say it's rigged.

To "The Wonderers" it don't matter. Were just here to kick butt and that's exactly what we'll do!  :rocker;

Is that where your team is going for the MNO Challenge "Defeated Teams Banquet"  :chef: the end of October? Better make your reservations now since they only have seating for 6 people.  :popcorn:

Come on Lee, you are jealous cuz I have a sponsor and now they won't let you have your 100th wedding anniversary there this summer. I hear they would not let you bring your good paper plate china there and let you use the thimble deep fryer for your fish cakes...  :sorry: Borgie

Not a big deal Cody.  Good thing I wasn't on here braggin about the big lunkers i caught.  The funniest thing is this big northern expert who was going out last Thursday (to his stocked pond) couldn't even beat my puny accident slough shark.  Phishnchick and splinter will smack the yellow off your teeth with the lunkers they are going to catch throughout the competition.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Now he's blaming it on the fish.  I'm sure it had nothing to do with your skills or lack there of.   :cry:

 Good luck as you start to build the foundation of our championship house. I can't wait until sjohnnie26 and I can pitch in and help build some of the walls. I know we still have until the end of Oct to finish the job But, I was thinking we may wrap up construction before that date.  :whistling:

Well now that we are into the second weekend of fishing and I am all caught up at work I think I will take my first of many Mondays off and go fishing. With some luck with the weather and some time on the water I should be able to boat some fish and get on the leader board here. So far I have not seen to much to worry about. Cody is usually all done by the 2nd weekend and everyone has already passed the General. Borgi is talking about building a house and Hunterdown has to shoot a turkey bigger then his daughters. Lee is waiting on vacation and Tim, well Tim is waiting on Hunterdown  :rotflmao: I won't promise anything, I'll let my fish talk for me   :whistling:

Well windy or not I was going fishing and I did. 10 bass caught 4 over 16" and two over 17.5 that I posted. Even had a 24" northern that was right on the button but I am sure our team can do better then that... Beat the thunderstorm off the lake.. And yes where I live Bass are in season ! Should slide us in to third place, If I had posted the northern we would have been all alone in first, but it's a long season!!!  Now where is Tim and them fish he was talking about??? :coffee:

8. All local and State fishing rules must be adhered to in the catching of fish, Smallmouth Bass must be in season. No illegal means of harvesting will be accepted. Catch and release rules/seasons are OK for contest.

Hey Tim when ya buy a license you should pick up a rule book.. Page 18 you might want to read them before you quote rules..  :coffee:
