Every half inch does count when the whole world is against you.  Plus I can always blame it on Woody if our team doesn't win.  His poor guiding skills aren't getting splinter on the fish.   :happy1:

P.S. Just for GG the Mrs. is quite happy and I don't need to brag about that so I'll stop right there. :whistling:

For those of you who do not know.  That is actually GG when she was knee high to a grass hopper.  That little pouty face has yet to change though I see. :woot: :woot:

It was a tuff search, cause it was only made in occupied Japan and only imported by the Minnesota tackle company.........

It's to bad that the youth of our bass would commit suicide by jumping into Hunterdowns boat... I can see no other way Hunter would catch a bass that big.... nice fish

I am sure the bass was caught dragging a big white spinner bait looking for northerns. Can't see Hunterdown actually looking for a bass, since he don't fish for carp!  :rotflmao:

Mine has to be hand crafted, can't find any store bought ones that can handle the weight of my bass!!  :rotflmao:

Any fish you can tie a hook to a log chain and still catch sounds like it isn't much of a challenge.  Both Bass and Northern fall into this category.  But hey I understand you old timers don't want to work any more.

I will admit that i have fallen way short in the walleye catagory this year but almost every other year i have had a 27" or 28" fish during the first month of the season but no dice on that this year.  I also dont fish for northerns  the only ones i catch are the ones that hit while i am fishing for bass or walleyes but o well. and hunterdown or general when you catch one that measures up then you can talk smack about bass because as far as i am concerned small fish of any species are easy to catch  it is the larger ones of the species that get hard to catch.

It's like pulling in a snagged tree branch.  ;)

The fish I catch eat those things as snacks!  ;D

that thing would maybe die trying but would not get the job done on a 20 inch bass   i only know of one fish that could and  that is a flathead catfish  at about 40 inches long could maybe eat a bass of that size

It had a full sized wood duck in it's gullet when I had it mounted...........
You'd be surprized what those things will eat...or just kill for the fun of it.

Where is Cody? He's been awful quiet lately.................
(I wonder why)

Lee? Did you get your fish'in line? I don't see any fish yet......  :whistling:

I've been fishing 6 days a week without fishing. Now I know it's hard to figure that one out, but give it a shot.

In 2 weeks Borgie and I will be fishing for ourselves and our respective teams trying to bring home the gold for the crew at "Borgie's Raiders" and for my soldiers on "The Wanderers"
