2-17-09  Walleye reports are coming in pretty steadily, 9-15 feet, edges of any structure.  they are loving the run off areas from hills.  Nice 29" and 26" brought in.  15' is seeing action after dark with smaller walleye in the dusk, and some reason growing larger as the night runs on.  42" northern from out by Cigar during the day, with the northern bay seeing action on all the larger fish.  Sunnies can be seen through the ice in the flats of the East Lake, scattering as the northern rampage through them..really fun.  This is a niiccceee time to be out on the lakes!  Everything seems to be hungry and getting ready for the spring!
