Nice to hear from ya again Dardevle!

Yea, the word has gotten out......
Hopefully, not to much yet!

I'll be out there till dusk, so come anytime!

I've usually been getting out there around noon to 1:00, but figured 10:00.
It'll give us time to get set up and rolling!

Bring plenty of wax worms and jigs....the Pike seem to like to bite ya off once in a while.
On Monday, I caught a 10 pounder on 2 lb test.....THAT was a blast!

My wife just said she would not be home till' around 1-1:30 pm that day.  I think I am going to see if my folks will come over around noon and watch the girls till' she gets home.  One way though or another I'll get out to fish with you again.

Yep, if ya turn by the Rush Point Store and head North till you come to the "T", take a right, and the sign is on the right side for the park.

So, not far............

By the looks of it Hunterdown, it is not that far.  I think I have a good idea where you are going to be fishing at.  Like i said, I will most likely not get out till' around 1pm but I will get out there to fish with the guys.  Besides, the lake is just up the road from my place.  Nice park to fish in the spring also.  And the weather looks like it will be terrific!!! :happybounce:

Yep, it is.......

The weather should be great, and hopefully the fish will bite.  :happy1:
I haven't been out there since Monday, but I did pretty well then.

I'm gonna dig the trailer out of the snow bank tonight, and have that on the back of the wheeler to haul stuff out.

And, if I get time, I'll bring the weber grill and some hot dogs along.  :chef:

Just look for my 2 tone brown ford in the lot.........
I will have my Voyager trap with the Polaris wheeler.......
And if ya don't wanna bring your auger out, I'll have my Lazer to drill holes.

Who ever don't show.....well....you'll be missing out on a good time......  ;)

I'm back in guys. My plans for Sunday fell through so I'm coming to the GTG!!

Got the Mongo fish house ready to go (shouldn't need to set it up) so I can help get folks on the ice.

I may be looking for a shuttle from the parking lot. I should have my eldest son with me and my brother if he shows up at my place in the morning.
What time you planning on getting there Sandmannd?

I'm thinking I'll leave here at 8:30, 9 at the latest. Be more than happy to shuttle. I should almost follow you up, not quite sure where the park is.

Sounds good I'm hoping to leave around 8:30 myself. I'm not positive of the parks location either, but we drove past it when drove around the north end of the lake.

The boys started getting restless so we swung over to Chisago for a few hours. The action was better, but the size was about the same. All in all a great day to be on the ice. I couldn't convince them to stick around for lunch.

Me and Jacob ended up getting our limit of sunfish!    ;D

Jacob also won the fishing rod with a Bluegill just over 8.5 inches!  :happy1:

The bit started picking up after 3:00

It was nice to put some faces to the names, meet some new friends and got to fish with some old.

Thanks everbody for showing up!

I had a great time as well. I have the worst sun burn I've had in years! The weather was just great, aside from the wind. I swung over to pelican to see some friends for a bit then ran home and took out the motorcycle!  :rocker; Thanks again hunter, great time!

Had a great time fishing.  I gotta thank both Hunterdown and icebanger for the live waxies.  The Gulp just were not cuttin' it today for me.  Just wish the wind was not so strong at times.  But a great day none the less.  Looking forward to getting out again with you guys.  Now I got some fresh sunfish to be eatin' up!!! :chef:

I forgot to add.  On my way back to home I got stopped by the :police:  I was doing 73 in a 55. :banghead:  I was lucky enough that he let me go with a warning.  :dancinred:
