I forgot to add.  On my way back to home I got stopped by the :police:  I was doing 73 in a 55. :banghead:  I was lucky enough that he let me go with a warning.  :dancinred:

DD.....Was it a Braham cop?
If it was...... Luck was on your side!  :happy1:

I'll prolly be going back out around 2, the bite seemed to be better later.  ;)

I hada great time out there. Thanks for putting it together Hunter. And didn't I tell you that after I left (right at 3) the fishing would pick up?

Was great to meet new folks. My highlight were the pike coming in on the camera and how much Kenny liked to see them. It was fun showing him the camera and he even tried his had at using my LX5 towards the end of the day.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

Yep, It was a Braham cop.  He was sitting at the approach to that farmers land he lets trucks take fill dirt out of!?  I come up over the last hill heading into Braham on 4 and there he was.  OOPS!!!   I'll see about going out again today.  My daughter has a 4-H bowling GTG in Isanti at noon.  I kind-of doubt I'll make it out but there is always a chance!!  Good luck to ya on the Lake today Hunterdown!!!

I forgot to mention we saw a truck go through the ice. He was alright just the rear end dropped through. He drove between the 2 islands just north of the west access. I can't believe anyone would consider driving through there.

Yea, every year we get someone that drops their truck in there.....

I don't know why they try and drive though there. I think has something to do with Darwin...

Thanks for puting this together. Kenny and I had a great time and it was nice to meet some people who enjoy the outdoors as much as us. When we got home my wife informed me my computer died so I wont be able to spend as much time on here for a while.

Yeah banger was looking a bit frustrated. Don't worry about the dogs. IMO, when it comes to free food it just has to be edible. And I kind of like them burnt a little.
I hope we can do it again in the summer, you can show us what the pike fishing is all about -  :happy1:

Thanks again HD!
