Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte Stallworth on Wednesday sent his condolences to the family of the man involved in a fatal crash Saturday morning.

According to police, a car driven by Stallworth allegedly struck and killed Mario Reyes, 59, who was attempting to cross the street shortly after getting off work. Reyes died on scene.

Stallworth had a BAC of .12.

How do you guys think that Stallworth should be punished?

Just like any other citizen would be.  It shouldn't  matter if you're a sports "star", movie star, porn star, kabillionaire or what have you.  You do the crime-you do the time.  Of course that won't happen.   :doah:  Welcome to reality I guess.  :doah:

I agree with you. He should not be allowed to play in the NFL again. What he did was reckless and very irresponsible. I heard somewhere he could serve up to 15 years in prison.. who knows what will happen.

I agree this is a terrible tragedy.  I am sure he is sorry, but that doesn't make it OK.  I think that there have been some stiffer penalties handed out to some of the pros for criminal offences than there used to be.  But it still seems like many of the get off too easy.  I hope he gets treated as anyone else would in the same situation.  It's only right.

Wouldn't it have been easier to slow down and let the man walk by?? I hope he gets what he deserves.
