I don't like telling to many people where the walleyes are bitting because they will swarm the whole lake and I like keeping it to my self... until the resorts start to get busy.  ill tell you about sunfish crappies bass northerns and maybe musky but not walleye

I'm signed up to go to the Appleseed in Elk River on the 9th, but hopefully on the 10th I'll be on either Grace Lake, Lake Bemidji, or some other area lake.  Likely whichever one is least crowded.

No real traditions set yet since this is only my second opener since I got out of the army.  Hopefully I'll be ready for opener when it comes, that'll be my tradition!
This is the internet, please remain calm.  I mean you no harm...

I don't think telling people which lake you will fish for opener is as important as remembering to take a kid along for the weekend!
You can't afford not to go fishing.

I'll be fishing Mille Lacs again with a buddy and his step dad. He's got a cabin about a 1/2 mile north of hunters point. Weather permiting I hope the lifts in the water so we dont have to hang out with everyone and their inlaws at the landing each day.

I have decided to skip opener because I'm going up north the next weekend.

My plans changed. Fishing Pool 3 and the Croix early Saturday morning for the Croix opener. For MN opener I'm headingto Mille Lacs. We pay summer use storage so can use our fish house all summer with electricity and such. Should be a good time.
