We were up near grand rapids today out looking for sheds and deer sign and a friend found several deer ticks on himself.

My coworker found one on him yesterday.  Tick season is here!  That means skeeter season can't be too far behind.  Already seen a couple.   :doah:

Haven't seen any skeeters yet hear in the city. It doesn't surprise me about the ticks. I've had them on me in December while bird hunting.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.

Pulled almost a dozen ticks off the kids and myself this past weekend and I'm near Elk River.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

Ah the signs of spring. Can't stand ticks.

It was really nice on the river Saturday with no bugs. I give it a couple of more weeks before they are out in force!
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

I found ticks on my brothers golden in march during that warm spell. I bought her a frontline, a collar and a spray after the last time out a couple weeks ago. She was full of them but I have yet to have one on me which is odd because I'm out walking around in the woods too. She must have really bad luck.
Let the small bucks walk. Don't assume the neighbors will shoot them if you don't. If you shoot him what chance does that buck have to grow......ZERO!
