the bears are going to suck this year. they add all that stuff but they fail to add a receiver so jay cutler will have no impact but hitting the ground alot complements of jared allen. he and aaron rogers can cry about it together.

:rotflmao: Believe me Bobby... it aint I...But maybe Favre! ;D  I only know of it from channel surfing... well, that and being a big NWA fan!  Got all their albums! ;)(JK)  Well now I can get back to being just a mildly disgruntled Vikings fan :coffee:, instead of a soon to be Bears fan  (would have been really, really sad...)  Think of all I could have accomplished next fall having Sundays free... Oh well....
Some how now has a picture of thunderpout wearing a very large TV remote control on a gold chain around his neck... Go Vikes! :rotflmao: Can see the helmet with horns to....

:rotflmao:  Thats funny Bobby... I do have a purple mad bomber hat with gold horns sewn on it, but it hasnt been put on for a Vikes game since Anderson missed that field goal against the falcons in the playoffs... it just gets occasional ice fishing duty these days,  got a nicer coyote/buffalo horned one for the Eelpout fest.  No giant remote yet though... (not yet ;))  BUT... back to the Favre deal.....  WHY MUST HE TORTURE ME!?!?!?!? :banghead: :doah: :puke:    This  :censored: is going to go on all dang summer isnt it?  WHY?!?!?  I am pretty much set on protesting this upcomming season now. :banghead:  Looks like Im gonna have to swear off all the sports talk shows and ESPN... Ill have to imerse myself in FSN and live, eat and breath the Twins and care about no sport news till my newly refurbished Wild start up this fall......

I heard on KFAN that Childress put a week limit for Favre's answer on weather he will be playing for the Queens this year.... I didnt hear it from Chillys lips, so I dont know if its true for sure, but I sure hope its the truth.... even if it happens, at least we wont have to go thru months of  :bs: about the ponderings and soundbites from Favre, his agent and Favres buddies in the media....

:queen2: (Favre showing off his sweet new SB ring)!  Even though he's a drama queen and everyone is sick of his back and forth, the Vikes are way better off than they were with TJ.  I do feel bad for Rosenfels.  The guy never gets a break.  Mr. backup again.

The Vikes should market a Brett Favre Yo-Yo!   Well at least this part of the drama is over.  Now lets see him EARN his "keep".

Yea, it was weird. I was at the game and it was a playoff atmosphere. Never saw a pre-season game like that in my life. It's yet to be seen if this will be good or bad. DOn't know why T-Junk can't play consistantly like he did on Friday.

T-jacks whole problem is that he cant take the pressure, which there is no more pressure on him anymore, so can perfrom like he can. its ridiculous

No Cody, that is not his whole problem. The biggest is he is a run first QB. Show me a QB that ran first that ever won the big one. You can't. Ya some scramblers have but never the runners. I know some of you will say look at what Cunningham did with the Vikes. But at that stage in his career he was no longer a runner.  McNabb grew into a better QB when he quit running first as well. Same as Steve Young, better as he learned not to just take off and run at the first sign of trouble. Elway is another great example. Sure he ran, but not his first choice. Vick, a dangerous weapon but not a great QB. Look at the stats if you don't believe it. And the list could go on.
Second, he can't read the D, which leads back to his first problem. The Vikes need to cut their losses and let him go. I might have to watch the Queenies a bit this year. They have a chance with old Brett. It will be interesting for sure.

Fun during the Packer game on Saturday. Guy from KDWB had a plane fly over the game. Check it out.   :rotflmao:

Is that real?  Thats pretty funny... Auggie, I think your right, You cant be seeing your recievers like you should downfield if youre off and running... Yeah, all those QB's got better even after they slowed down with age because they had to start relying more on the pass... as long as ya have a solid offensive line that enables you to get the ball downfield... I'm still concerned about our OL.... new center, rookies starting, patchwork filling the remaining spots.... our line is a HUGE unknown!  People always seem to overlook how crucial the OL is to an offense, and having a 40 year old QB taking a pounding because of a OL with a bunch of holes in it aint gonna work for long... thats the biggest flaw Ive noticed so far, the pass rush is comming straight up the middle, and we havent even played a team with a good pass rush yet! :doah: I know its pre-season, but I havent seen anything at all from the new guys on the OL yet.... I hope they prove me wrong, otherwise (I hate to say it) T jack may be what they need if they have to get away from the pass rush until we shore up our OL.... How mobile is Sage?  I just remember him getting upended big time on a scramble that they played over and over on ESPN last year....

Yep, Matt was a big loss for sure in the middle. The OL will make or break this team for sure. AP will not last the season either if they don't hold up. As for Sage being mobile, he wasn't a few years back as a Dolphin. I can't imagine age helped out. I watched enough of him there to know he was not an improvement for the Vikes.

Like him or not, Brett is an upgrade from what we had.  He is not the player he was, but he is still better then the two unproven guys behind him.

I still aint jumping on the Favre wagon...I refuse! ;D  If ya take away the last minute heroics in the 9ers game,  blubbering Brett would have been at 50% at best...  The O-line aint helping him, and I dont see how he can last an entire season... But I will admit, at least he's made football games semi watchable for me again, but Ill be watching the Vikes whole season from a big arms length... wont get worked up about them, but good entertainment foder! :bonk:  well at least the last 1.5 minutes..... ;)  The Packers game should be interesting, eh? :whistling:   I think Bretts gonna plead to be put on the defensive line so he can lay a sack on Rogers! :rotflmao:

Packers game will be a fun game. I will say this about Brett, he's the only QB on the Vikes that could have pulled that off. If T-Junk was in there, no way we would have won that. And like you said, the 0-line had better shore things up.

Totally agree with you guys, one thing though if the Vikes WR and TE could learn to catch a football and once they catch it learn to hang onto it Brett's numbers would have been much better?
