Mille Lacs Opener.

Any predictions on this years opener up on the lake? i won't make it out opener weekend but depending on work schedules I may make it up Monday and Tuesday or the following weekend. I'm sure the sand will be packed with boats as usual through-out the day and the east side rock piles will be lined with lights come night fall. I do love a good opener on Mille Lacs but am skipping it for the second year in a row. Any who venture out good luck!!

who else will be on the pond this saturday????? what methods are you using? we will just be using slip bobbers, with all kinds of bait on board from crappie minnows to fatheads to leeches. and im using a chart. hook the walleye are to use to seeing those red hooks in my opinion.

Try Shaws Reef. They seem to do decent out there every year.

shaws reef? ok ill let my buddys dad know..i know absolulty(sp) nothing about the lake this is only my 2nd time on the lake the first time was on the ice so we will see. my buddy said that they have spots but of course they wont tell me anything lol very protective of there secret spots

If they fish the area they will know it. Its no secret but every year my neighbors up there do well on it. Evening.
