I bought a deer license in the 100 sections and my buddy who i go with had his vacation canceled by the military.  So now i'm trying to go with my brother in the 200s section.  What do i need to do to switch this/can i switch my zone? The only reason i bought my license so early was because of the damned lottery.  So if anything the DNR will be getting that lottery tag back...

well if they have already drawn the lottery and you won a tag and want to change they wont sell that tag.... but i am sure you can change your zone, i bought the wrong turkey license in the spring and they allowed me to change it....

I am almost sure the firearms licences are now statewide buck. unless you hunt second weekend only in some zone in the southeast

Yeah but i'm going to be going from a anterless lottery to a deer intensive area.  SO can i buy a doe tag for that area then?  My buddy thinks we don't need to do anything....

well you need your license for that area, just go into some place that knows what they are talking about because i think they have to talk to customer service or something like that.

Your regular license is good anywhere in the state except the late southeast zone. You can buy and use bonus tags no matter where you bought your license as long as the area you are hunting is valid for those bonus tags. I bought my license for a lottery zone but am still ble to take advantage of the early doe season and bonus tags as long as i use them in the areas that allow those hunts. Hope that makes sense. You can go to the dnr website read the regulation book and it explains all this.
