spearing pike through the ice

 :) whos spearing pike this year and what area of the state?

 Would like to get the new spear house the old man built 5 years ago out.

 We haven't speared pike for long time.

 I have to admitt though, this is one of funnest things a guy can do. Like waiting for a big buck to come by

 If we do, it will be in the northeastern part of Aitkin county

  try to spear every year, but last season i put my house out on gov. point on gull lake and someone tore the door off over night.? still harvested a nice 12.3 pike after setting the house. :)? >:(

I gto every yr usually around home but make a couple trips to other areas every yr.

I'll take a couple Northerns outta the lake behind the house this year. Don't spend near enough time in that little house as I should...Barely pays to license it.

Don't get out much anymore. In the past I did a lot of spearing and it sure is a lot of fun watching them big pike come into your hole. Hopefully get out this year and do some.
