For those of you that can't find a wounded deer (myself included), here is another option.

Might be expensive but It might be worth it if you shoot one as big as this guy did.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

Aren't there people with groups of dogs you can hire to track down your deer?  I'd do that before i hired a helicopter.  Fortunately i don't have the money to do either so i don't have to make this tough decision.
