A couple of months ago, we announced that we would have a drawing when we hit 300 members, we are currently at 279, so the drawing should be in a week or so (hopefully)

The drawing will be for (1) $25 Gander Mountain gift card.

To be eligible for the drawing, you must be a member (no staff) with at least 5 posts in the general forums.

We will be using a # randomizer for the drawing numbered 1 through 300, the first # drawn (non staff) with at least 5 posts in the forums will be announced the winner.

Only 21 more new members will be allowed into this drawing, so if your a guest and would like to be included, please register on the site and have at least 5 posts.

Click Forums in the box on the left hand corner, under Links.  Then scroll down to the bottom, you will see lot of stats including number of members.

there are all kinds of people out there and we have grown to love and accept all of them. we also embrace the fawkinnae sportsmans club.
I would offer you a camp jigglestick t-shirt, but all of the kids versions that say "what a crappie" instead of "fawkinnae" on them were given away at last summers IBOT fest.
the only ones I have left do indeed say "fawkinnae" in small print on them so that wont work.

I am also sorry you thought your beliefs would get you in trouble here. we are trying to avoid that sort of mis-conception.

No problem Russ, now your catching on..... We have no problem with our current members registering someone as long as it is a real person who will be using the site in the future. Better do it fast though, only one more spot is open for the drawing. She'll need to meet the 5 post minimum too.

That should be very possible...actually I know we will do it!

But even if we don't keep this in mind....It's not quantity it is quality. Imagine if we had 3,000 members and only 75 were active......wouldn't that be depressing! :-\
