I was wondering how many Bow hunters video tap there hunt?
I have tried the last year to do this but my hunting friend does not know how to stay still or stop playing with is phone. Did I say he also smokes in the stand!

So needless to say the turkey and deer I harvested this year he was not around, so I did not get the kill on video. If he was around I most likely would have not had the chance to see anything.

I did look online for different brackets to mount on a bow and did purchase the http://theriflecam.com still have not received it!

Last night I did make a new bracket (sent out for patent pending today) to mount a camcorder to my bow.
Has anyone purchased something like this and do you like it?
If not would you purchase something if the price was low enough?

If can make an inexpensive one for a shot gun, count me in.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

Sent the first 14 pcs to powder coat today.
Will need to have some people try them out to ensure they fit on other bows besides my, 2008 Bowtech Allegiance and also work with other camcorders.

never use a camera ON my bow I use a camera arm from Muddy http://gomuddy.com/shopping/Departments/Camera-Arm-System.aspx and have been happy with it. I would think if its mounted to your bow it would be hard to get anything but a shot on tape???? with a arm you can still do it yourself or better yet bring your friend, wife or kid. No better way to get kids involved. Now that my son has helped me he is thinking about killing more than just paper.
Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!

Used the camera mount on my bow at 3-D targets this week end and it work out great.
I have a few design changes to ensure it mounts on all bows.
I wish I new how to attached videos on this website!
It does move when you shoot but it does get in on video, plus if you fallow the target it work out ok.
For Bowhunter73:
I understand the mount you’re talking about, but I had trouble using it by my self unless I was Bear hunting, that is because the target is always at the bait.
For me I have no kids and my girl would never go in the woods (already tried that)
the only way I would be able to get the kill on film is video tapping by my self.
With out trying to focouse on moving the video tap around to get the shot on video and resking scarrying the deer away this seams to be my only way.
I will take all good and bad to ensure a working product.
After I get the first samples back I would like you to try one. (no charge) I will PM you when I have them complete.
