I was wondering what a guy can use to clean up a mount.  I don't want to end up using the wrong thing and have something get ruined. (Have a bear, deer and antelope).

Also wondering what could be recomended to get some color back into a set of antlers. I have seen some stuff online but if anyone has anything that they have used with good results it would be nice to know. (antlers are just on a plauqe)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've used canned air (like for a keyboard).. and a damp paper towel. have no idea on the antler stain.. you can check vandykes they may have something
If science fiction has taught me anything, it's that you can never have enough guns and ammo when the zombies come back to life... "WS"

Canned air will work but if you have a air compressor just turn down the pressure and blow carefully. 40 to 50 psi. Then groom it out with a pet grooming brush
As far as the antler staining, many methods and products out there. This is a project most beginners or inexperienced people may not end up with good results on their own. Pick one and try first on the back side to see what kind of results you may get. I many times have to mix many methods including staining, painting, and dye work on a single set of antlers to get a result I am pleased with. Good luck!
